Cavallino 2018, now in its 27th year, was again held at the elegant Breakers Hotel in swanky Palm Beach, FL. The Concorso d’Eleganza is always all Ferrari, although branching into other marques along the fringes more and more each year. This Concours is often a stepping stone for the elite Ferraris before tasking Pebble Beach Concours d”elegance or Villa d’Este in Italy.
Best and rarest Ferraris are placed on the putting green, and the others are lined down the first hole according to model. This year I judged 348 and 355 street and Challenge cars, a fine group. In attendance was the 348 Challenge Press Car, essentially Challenge Car #1 (although it was never raced).
I’ve said this before and I will say it again, the best part of the week is the Thursday morning Lecture Series. Each year three vintage Ferraris are showcased and discussed by the restorer or owner. It’s a wonderful opportunity to hear the history, acquisition and restoration of these exceptional and rare cars.
Cavallino 2018 Lecture Series: The three cars presented were…

owned by the underwire beneath Victoria’s Secret, Leslie Wexner

So many push-up bras in my lifetime. I’d much rather have this
