Classic Sports Sunday at Mar-a-Lago Club
120 vintage cars of various marques were on display at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, FL for Classic Sports Sunday to finish up the week of Cavallino Classic. Also known as Donald Trump’s hotel and club, Mar-a-Lago is a lovely, though pricey concourse, with a charity brunch and awards.
Some of the Ferraris from the previous day’s Cavallino Classic 25 Concours were on the lawn. Alfa Romeos had a very solid presence, including six of the very high valuable 8-cylinder models with three each of the 2.3 and 2.9 litre engines. A nice array of Aston Martin, Jaguar, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Fiat, and other marques were displayed, and attendance was strong, in spite of the cold weather.
