McCalls Motorworks Revival – Monterey 2016
McCall Events, Inc., owned by Gordon McCall, celebrated the 25th year of McCalls Motorworks Revival at the Monterey Jet Center in Monterey, CA. Guests attend the August 2016 party among planes, cars, food and drinks.
The McCalls Motorworks Revival is an expensive ticket. It is, in essence, a cocktail party at the Monterey Jet Center among vintage and private planes, motorcycles, and vintage to race to new automobiles. The WWII planes were incredibly interesting, and it is a first peak of some of the cars of Monterey Car Week.
However, all of the cars can be seen elsewhere that week. A line of BMW 3.0’s drove in, wonderful cars, which could later seen at Legends of the Autobahn. Manufacturers Pagani and Alfa Romeo displayed their newest must-have models. Again, both would be at The Quail, like most of the cars displayed at the event. The race cars were the best attendees of this party, including Kyle Busch’s 2015 NASCAR Championship Toyota.
McCall also organizes The Quail, a Concours held on Friday during Monterey Car Week. It’s worth going to one, in my opinion, but not both events.
