A gaggle of us from New England are headed to Monterey Car Week 2015. The Ferrari Club of America National Meet starts the day after Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance so we will be staying for that as well. 10 days of car nirvana.
Mr. Auto Blonde and I have been attending for nearly 15 years now. We don’t usually bring (send) a car. The truth is, no matter what car you bring, no matter how awesome or unique your car is, the cars you will see in Monterey at the shows and at the auctions, even just parked or driving on the street, are unparalleled. This year we and some friends hired a car hauler to bring our cars out to Monterey Car Week. We will drive them, show them, and have them judged, which I equate to taking one’s clothes off and asking “What do you think?” to a panel of experts with a clipboard and a red pen.
Here is the start of the journey…

Lots of pre-loading discussion; Ferrari 250 GT/E, Porsche Carrera GT, Ferrari 575M

Clearance was not a problem for this old classic

Passport Transport. Very nice hauler, great service, great driver Marcus

Already loaded, a pretty Ferrari 458 Spyder on the top so the old cars won’t leak on it

Two Ferrari 330 Americas and two Ferrari 250 GT/E’s. We expect a record 20 plus GT/E’s to gather in Monterey this year
